Click-to-call on Opportunities

Working a pipeline board means going card by card, and Phone Clover lets you call the contact behind a card without opening it first. Anywhere HighLevel shows its phone-icon glyph on an Opportunities card, clicking it dials that contact with Phone Clover.

How it works

1. Open an Opportunities/pipeline view in HighLevel.
2. On a card, click the phone icon in the card header.
3. Phone Clover identifies the contact tied to that card and opens the floating widget, dialing the same way click-to-call in the Contacts grid does, including the do-not-call and number checks before the call starts.

This is the same underlying feature as Contacts-grid click-to-call, recognizing a different part of HighLevel’s UI. Everything downstream, the widget, the caller card, in-call controls, and the post-call outcome screen, behaves identically once the call connects.

Note: The click target is HighLevel’s phone-icon glyph in the card header, tied to that card’s contact ID. If a card does not show a phone icon (for example, an opportunity with no phone number on the contact), there is nothing to click.

Why this matters for pipeline work

Sales and follow-up work usually happens from the pipeline board, not the Contacts list. Being able to call directly from a card means you can work a stage of your pipeline start to finish, calling each contact, without switching screens between the board and the Phone page. When the call ends, you land back where you started, ready to move to the next card.

Recording the outcome

Every call placed this way still goes through the same required post-call step as any other Phone Clover call: a quick tile for Connected, Voicemail, No answer, or Wrong number, plus any custom outcomes your admin has set up. See Post-call outcomes and Custom outcomes, tags, and tasks.

If a click does not do anything

• The card has no phone icon. The contact behind the card has no phone number on file.
• The contact is do-not-call. Phone Clover blocks the call the same way it does from the Contacts grid.
• You are on a different kind of board. Click-to-call is scoped to HighLevel’s Opportunities pipeline cards specifically, recognized by their header layout, not every card-like element in GHL.

If you expect a click to work and it is not responding at all, refresh the page first. If the problem persists across contacts, check with an admin whether the sub-account’s connection to GHL is healthy under Overview and health badges.

Working a stage efficiently

A common way to use this is to open a pipeline stage, call down the cards one by one, and log an outcome after each. Because the caller card and outcome screen appear the same way every time, you can build a rhythm: click the icon, wait for the caller card, talk, pick an outcome, move to the next card. Nothing about clicking from a pipeline board is slower than dialing from the Keypad tab, it is simply a different entry point into the same call flow.

How this differs from a calling list

A calling list dials contacts automatically, one after another, with a pause between calls that you control. Opportunities click-to-call is manual: you decide which card to call and when.
